ABOUT ME

Techno International New Town (TINT), formerly known as Techno India College of Technology (TICT), is a private engineering and management college located in Rajarhat, Kolkata. Established in 2005, it is a key unit of the Techno India Group, one of the largest education providers in India.

  • Affiliation & Accreditation: Affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and approved by the AICTE. It holds a NAAC B++ accreditation.
  • Location: Situated on a 5-acre urban campus in New Town Action Area I, roughly 10 km from the Kolkata International Airport.
  • Principal: Dr. Ayan Chakraborty. 

Academic Programs

TINT offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses: 

  • Engineering (B.Tech): Specializations include Computer Science (CSE), IT, AI & Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, IoT, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering.
  • Management & IT: Offerings include MBABBAMCA, and BCA.
  • Postgraduate Research: M.Tech in Electrical Engineering. 

Admissions & Fees (2025–2026) 

  • Entrance Exams: Admissions for B.Tech are primarily through WBJEE and JEE Main. For PG courses, GATEWBUT PGET (M.Tech), WB-JECA (MCA), and MAT/CAT (MBA) are accepted.
  • Fee Structure:
    • B.Tech: Total course fee is approximately ₹4.84 Lakhs to ₹6 Lakhs.
    • MBA: Approximately ₹5.17 Lakhs total.
    • BCA/BBA: Approximately ₹2.95 Lakhs total.

  • Placements: TINT has a dedicated cell with a consistent record of placing around 74–75% of eligible students.
    • Top Recruiters: TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Microsoft, Amazon, and IBM.
    • Package Highlights: Historically, the highest packages have reached up to ₹32 LPA, with median packages around ₹5 LPA.
  • Facilities: Includes smart classrooms, 40+ modern laboratories, a digital library with over 30,000 books, and separate off-campus hostels for boys and girls.
