Established in the year 2000 as the flagship institute of JIS Group Educational Initiatives, JIS College of Engineering (JISCE) stands as a pioneer in technical education in West Bengal. Located in the serene and industry-connected township of Kalyani, Nadia, we have grown into one of the most respected autonomous engineering institutions in the region.
We are proud to be the first private engineering college in West Bengal to receive Autonomous status from the UGC in 2011. Accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘A’, approved by AICTE, and with multiple NBA-accredited programs, JISCE consistently ranks among the top private engineering colleges. In NIRF 2025, we are positioned in the 201–300 band nationally in Engineering — the highest-ranked private affiliated institute in West Bengal under MAKAUT.
