Our History
The journey of PES began in 1972 when Dr. M.R. Doreswamy established the Peoples Education Society (PES) with just 40 students in a rented gymnasium in Bangalore. What started as a humble initiative to provide quality education has grown into a multi-campus university.
In 2013, PES Institute of Technology (PESIT) was granted University status by the Government of Karnataka, becoming PES University. Today, the university operates four main campuses:
- Ring Road Campus (RR): The flagship campus focusing on Engineering, Management, and Law.
- Electronic City Campus (EC): A hub for IT and Computer Science.
- Hanumanth Nagar Campus: Dedicated to Pharmacy and Allied Health.
- Medical College Campus (Kuppam): Focused on Medical Sciences and Research.
